Google invest ?1bn in new London based campus

Despite recent accusations of dodge taxing, Google has announced that it?ll be building a new UK headquarters in?n central London, and it?ll cost a staggering ?1 billion to build.

The search giant confirmed today that it has bought??a 2.4 acre piece of land at the Kings Cross Central Development, where it will build an?executive?one million square foot campus.

Reuters claims that Google will spend around??650m on the plot and construction, with it?s set to be valued at ?1 billion ? so they?ll obviously get a good profit if they choose the sell in the future.

They plan to start construction later this year, with an opening date set for 2016. Once completed, the campus will house Google UK?s staff force ? replacing their current offices in?Victoria and Holborn.
